Are you an artist, community organizer, cultural producer, mutual aid lead, or neighbor who wants to gather people in public space—but feels blocked by cost, bureaucracy, safety concerns, or not knowing where to start? We’re creating a Blueprint to help you. Register to receive a zoom link the day before the event:

Street Works creators started where you are more than a decade ago. Over the years, we’ve compiled our lessons, and “wish-someone-had-told-us” insights into a Blueprint for producing public space events with care, especially for groups with tiny budgets and big visions. Before we publish it, we’re hosting a feedback session.

This 1st conversation is not a training. Instead, it’s an early look at some common questions we’ve already tried to answer, and a space to surface the challenges we still need to address. Feedback will shape the online guide, to be released no later than April 2026.
