Street Works & 2nd Story Movement are hosting an open-house–style gathering where neighbors can drop in, spend time together, and connect with people involved in local community practices. This is a relaxed space to meet folks doing work in the neighborhood, catch up with friends, make new ones, and share resources.
There is no structured agenda. Come and go as you like, stay for a bit or linger longer, and engage in whatever feels most useful or interesting to you. We’ll update this page if specific community members are able to attend and bring flyers, resources, or materials to share in the space.
Resume Support (Optional)
Alongside the open hang, we’ll have a guest from the Department of Labor offering resume reviews off to the side of the room. Resume reviews are optional and will be first come, first served. While reviews are happening, the rest of the space will remain open for conversation, connection, and community exchange.
If you plan to bring a resume and would like to be considered for a review, please email anjali@makejusticenormal.org ahead of time so we can share the level of interest with their team. If you don’t email in advance, that’s okay. Feel free to bring your resume anyway. If we run out of time, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with the DOL team directly at another time.
