BK Style Foundation
Since 2004, the BK Style Foundation (BKSF) has been a driving force in building and bridging creative fashion communities in Brooklyn and beyond.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, BKSF is dedicated to championing emerging designers, particularly those from under-privileged backgrounds, by offering them resources to hone their talent, grow their business, and showcase their creations to the world
They also organize Fashion Week Queens, which is committed to building an inclusive, community-centered fashion platform that reflects the global spirit of Queens.
Fashion Week Queens (FWQ) is a new fashion and cultural platform launching its first annual event in 2026, in Queens, New York. Founded by Rick Davy and Jack Mapira, FWQ was created to celebrate the borough’s unparalleled diversity while supporting designers, creatives, and small businesses through high-visibility runway shows and cultural programming.
