Natalie Bedon
Natalie Bedon is an artist and arts professional specializing in community engagement, cultural programming, and arts education.
As the Project Manager at Flushing Town Hall, she leads the Queens Cultural Mapping Initiative funded by the New York State Council on the Arts. This year-long project focuses on researching the arts and cultural landscape of Queens, culminating in a comprehensive report and digital map platform.
Her role involves connecting artists and cultural organizations to resources and professional networks, facilitating public convenings and workshops, and developing new arts services at Flushing Town Hall. Her skills in relationship-building and cultural programming is rooted in her commitment to empowering underserved communities and enhancing access to the arts.
Previously, Natalie was the Family Programs Fellow at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), where she spearheaded cultural celebrations for Hispanic Heritage, Pride, and Black History Month, managed partnerships with community organizations, and led bilingual art programs. She also served as Education Programs Assistant at El Museo del Barrio, overseeing youth and family programs and supporting community-based arts initiatives. With her background in program coordination, event management, and community engagement, her goal is to continue advancing the arts as a tool for education, connection, and cultural sustainability.
