SonTierra

SonTierra is a multi-generational Latin music ensemble that brings together sound, storytelling, and environmental justice. Rooted in traditions such as cumbia, bolero, merengue, and Andean folk music, the group blends musical heritage with contemporary expressions of climate awareness and community care.

With EcoMadres, a project of Moms Clean Air Force, SonTierra uses music as a platform for climate storytelling and cultural connection within Latine communities. Through call-and-response, participatory performance, and immersive live sound, the ensemble transforms the stage into a shared space for reflection, joy, and collective action.
