A blueprint to Create
Street Works
This is a database of resources to help small groups organize events in styles similar to Street Works. This is a work in progress: we improve resources with use. Fill out the contact form below to get in touch, suggest changes, or say hi.
WH0 it’s for
Resources are for artists and small groups who are resisting injustice and often organize on tiny budgets or outside of day jobs. Public space resources are for New York City. If you’d like to help create resources for other places, let us know.
WHy we made this
We think Street Works can facilitate neighborhood collaboration. For them to scale, artists need to lead in their own neighborhoods, in their own ways. We hope to make it easier. If you want to meet creators supporting each other through the process, please reach out.

“For every injustice in the world there is an architecture, a plan, a design that sustains it.”
