Where: Travers Park & Open Street: 34th Ave @ 78th | Jackson Heights
Subway: E, F, M, R to Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av; 7 local to 74 St or 82nd St.
Walk north toward 37th Ave; Avenue numbers should go down. If you're coming from 74th, walk east, if you're coming from 82nd, walk west, about a 15-minutes. Visit the awesome restaurants on your way for an early lunch. Here are some examples.
When: Schedule
There are plenty of drop in activities, but we strongly recommend checking out the schedule to get to timed activities. Arrive by 11:30AM if you want to participate in career workshops! All tabling also ends at around 4:45PM, so we can gather for a performance and closing. Things may slightly shift in the final lead up, so bookmark this page & return!

Set sail with Diamond as she reads from Sage Saves the World. Sage embarks on a journey to save the polar bears from the dangers of climate change. After the reading, make your own adventure boat.

Join author Tulani Thomas as she reads from her children’s book series, TuTu and The Green Crew! Take a seat, settle in, and get for inspiration and some fun on going green and staying green.
