AHRC Train & Earn Program

The AHRC Train & Earn Program, funded by the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD), offers an exciting opportunity for candidates aged 16-24 with a high school diploma/equivalency (commencement credential accepted) and a qualifying barrier to employment (including, but not limited to, having a disability, being a youth parent, and more).

The AHRC Train & Earn Government Track, based in Manhattan, will provide an opportunity to obtain a credential in the Administrative field: Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence via American Society of Administrative Professionals. Once certified, participants will have the chance to intern at a government site and build upon their employability skills. This paid program offers 16 weeks of classroom instruction and internship, as well as an additional year of follow-up geared towards achieving a participant's career goals.
