Arts for Everybody

Arts For EveryBody is an exciting, one-of-a-kind, “social prescribing” initiative at Urban Health Plaan where patients are “prescribed” free and low-cost opportunities to engage with local art and activities such as museums, theatres, cooking classes, performance venues, and more!

This holistic approach aims to improve the health and well-being of the patients we serve through the power of art within the walls of our health centers and in the culturally rich communities we serve.

Social prescribing is about creating a vital bridge between healthcare and the community. It encourages closer attention to the social influences that affect physical and mental health and acknowledges the emotional benefits of participating in local arts and social activities.
