CANCELLED! 02/22/26 @1:30pm: Open house + resume reviews
UPDATE: A Blizzard is coming to New York City! We decided to cancel both the open house & time bank meeting for safety — but stay tuned for rescheduling info.
Street Works & 2nd Story Movement are hosting an open-house–style gathering where neighbors can drop in and connect with people involved in local community practices. This is a relaxed space to meet folks doing work in the neighborhood, catch up, and share resources.
There is no structured agenda. We’ll update this page if specific community resources providers can attend.
Resume Support (Optional)
A guest from the Department of Labor (DOL) will also be there to offer resume reviews! While reviews are happening, the space will remain open for community exchange. Resume reviews are optional and first come, first served. If we run out of time, you can connect with the DOL team directly at another time.
3:30PM: Time bank planning meeting
Immediately following the open house is a concentrated planning meeting for the Time Bank project. For folks interested in helping to organize the time bank, ask us about it during the open house. You are welcome! Learn more here about the meeting, and learn more about time banking here.
