Every Electric makes it easier for people to use a home battery and get paid for using it when the electric grid is stressed, which happens often in the hot summer months. The battery plugs into a regular wall outlet, stores electricity, and can be used to power many devices, including an air conditioner when it’s better to not use the grid.

Urban Upbound is dedicated to breaking cycles of poverty in New York City public housing and other low-income neighborhoods. They provide underserved youth and adults with the tools and resources needed to achieve economic prosperity and self-sufficiency through seven comprehensive, integrated programs.
